This presentation will discuss the treatment of sepsis and septic shock. It will discuss how to prioritize treatment choices, practical logistic needs and applications, and how to de-escalate therapy as the patient recovers.

Clinical reasoning in pharmacy practice is a commonly used and vitally important skill. Although we expect these skills to develop and strengthen particularly in the experiential education setting, they are often difficult to objectively define, teach, and evaluate among pharmacy learners.

Research has shown that practitioners trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI) have greater confidence in talking with individuals about new topics and greater satisfaction with worklife due to increased success in helping facilitate an individual's decision-making for behavior change.
