Dr. Jason Gallagher is Clinical Professor at Temple University School of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases at Temple University Hospital. He also serves as the Director of the PGY2 Residency in Infectious Diseases Pharmacy at Temple. Dr. Gallagher graduated with his Pharm.D. from Rutgers University in 2001. He then completed residency programs in Pharmacy Practice at Virginia Commonwealth University – Medical College of Virginia Hospital and in Infectious Diseases in the Immunocompromised Host at Duke University Medical Center. He currently serves as President of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists. He is a past President of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists and of the Mid-Atlantic College of Clinical Pharmacy and a former Chair of the ACCP Infectious Diseases Practice and Research Network. Dr. Gallagher serves on numerous committees for professional associations in infectious diseases and in pharmacy. He is a co-author of three editions of Antibiotics Simplified, co-editor of two editions of Frequently Prescribed Medications, and the author of over 150 publications, abstracts, and book chapters. His research interests focus on the treatment of patients with highly-resistant infections and maximizing the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic profile of antimicrobials.

Dr. Ali Hassoun is an infectious diseases physician with the Alabama Infectious Diseases Center in Huntsville, Alabama.  He is board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Hassoun completed his Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medical College and went on to do a Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor with UAB School of Medicine - Huntsville campus, an adjunct Faculty with UAH nursing school, as well as the Director of  Infection Control for Huntsville Hospital, Madison Hospital, and Crestwood Medical Center. In addition to this, Dr. Hassoun has extensive research experience including presenting manuscripts  at local and national scientific meetings as well as writing book chapters. His professional memberships include the American Academy of HIV Medicine, Infectious Diseases Society of America and American College of Physicians. 

Dr. Milner Staub is an Infectious Diseases (ID) physician with a keen interest and formal training in quality improvement (QI) and implementation science. Dr. Staub was graduated from UAB Medical School and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington where she served as the VA Chief Resident in Quality and Safety (VA Puget Sound Healthcare System, affiliated with University of Washington, Seattle, WA). She completed her ID fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), during which was awarded the inaugural Leadership in Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Public Health. She subsequently completed a VA Quality Scholars fellowship (VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, affiliated with Vanderbilt University Medical Center), then joined faculty at VUMC where she serves as the Director of Adult Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship for VUMC and VUMC Regional Hospitals. She also serves as the Physician Champion for Antimicrobial Stewardship at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. Her operational and research work focus on developing and studying the impact and generalizability of antimicrobial stewardship (AS) interventions and implementation strategies to reduce inappropriate outpatient antibiotic prescribing.

Dr. Taylor Steuber graduated from the UMKC School of Pharmacy in 2014, and completed a 24-month pharmacotherapy specialty residency with Indiana University Health and Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Indianapolis, Indiana. After residency, he joined the faculty at Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy in August 2016 where he worked for 6.5 years as an associate clinical professor in the department of pharmacy practice and as the assistant director of professional programs. Dr. Steuber transitioned closer to home and joined the faculty at his alma mater, the University of Missouri - Kansas City at MU School of Pharmacy in Columbia, Missouri in January 2023. He is currently a clinical associate professor in the division of pharmacy practice and administration and practices at University Hospital with the University of Missouri as an internal medicine clinical pharmacy specialist where he teaches and precepts students and residents. Dr. Steuber is a board certified specialist in pharmacotherapy since 2015. He is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, 50 meeting posters, and has received funding through the Center for Evidence-based Policy with Oregon Health and Science University as well as the Alabama Department of Public Health. His practice and scholarship interests include infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
