Joint Providership Agreement

As an accredited provider of continuing pharmacy education, the Harrison College of Pharmacy (hereinafter known as “HCOP”) agrees to enter into a joint providership agreement with the joint provider organization (hereinafter known as “JP”) to accredit and facilitate the awarding of continuing education credit.

This "Joint Providership Agreement" will define the parameters of the cooperative relationship by delineating the roles and responsibilities of each party. HCOP and JP agree to the terms and conditions described below.

Role of HCOP (Accredited Provider)
As the accredited provider of CE, HCOP will take all actions necessary to ensure compliance with the ACPE standards for Continuing Education. Any action
not explicitly outlined below, but deemed necessary by HCOP to comply with these requirements, will be implemented.

Role of Joint Provider "JP" (Non‐accredited Provider)
Listed below are specific expectations of JP as related to compliance, documentation, and awarding of CE credits. JP is responsible for these requirements on or before the due dates provided, as well as for logistical arrangements that are non‐accreditation related. HCOP reserves the right to revoke accreditation if appropriate documentation is not provided prior to the start date of the CE.  Additional information related to these tasks is included within this course for your reference.

Target Audience

Auburn University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education; credits are recognized nationwide. 

Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy is a board-approved provider of continuing nursing education in Alabama by the Alabama Board of Nursing. Provider Number: ABNP1515.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) through the joint providership of Harrison College of Pharmacy and NA Provider. The Harrison College of Pharmacy is accredited by the ACPE to provide continuing pharmacy education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The content of all brochures, promotional materials, and website must be reviewed and approved by HCOP prior to distribution/launch. HCOP must be listed on all materials as the Accredited Provider. No materials pertaining to the CE activity should be distributed without the review of all parties and the consent of HCOP.
