Influenza Update- Live Webinar Oct. 9th 12pm
This presentation will provide an update on the upcoming 2020-2021 influenza season and focus on the updated clinical practice guidelines for influenza vaccination. Several updates were incorporated into the guidelines for this season, and it is important for pharmacists to be up-to-date with these recommendations. Additionally, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to discuss the relationship between influenza and COVID-19. This overlap of influenza and COVID-19 has potentially severe consequences, and pharmacists may not yet feel comfortable to deal with both, so the most complete and up-to-date information possible is important at this time.
