Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common respiratory virus that impacts patients of all ages. Hospitalizations and deaths can occur in the younger and older populations. Two vaccines are now approved for older adults with one also being approved for maternal vaccination. For the pediatric population, a new monoclonal antibody was approved for use in all healthy infants and certain highrisk children. For 20 years, there was only one preventative pediatric strategy for RSV and now there are multiple options for various patient populations.
