This session explores how automated dispensing cabinet activity, analytics platforms, inventory discrepancies, and investigation findings must be interpreted within real-world workflow, staffing pressures, and system design. Attendees will learn how to connect data with policy, culture, and accountability to identify true risk, avoid false conclusions, and strengthen diversion prevention programs. Practical examples will illustrate how pharmacists can use context to improve decision-making, support frontline teams, and build sustainable, high-reliability diversion oversight.

Mitigating Risk & Preserving Reputation During a DEA Investigation
