COACH Annual Conference: Disparities in Opioid Harm Reduction in Older Adults - IN-PERSON - Auburn
This conference aims to improve healthcare professional knowledge, attitudes, and perceived barriers regarding opioid harm reduction strategies amongst vulnerable populations and expand the capacity for harm reduction efforts in underserved communities in the Deep South and nationally.

Target Audience
This experience-based course is intended for Pharmacists (ACPE), Nurse Practitioners (ABN), Nurses (ABN), and Social Workers (ABSWE).
Learning Objectives
1) Describe current guidelines for safe opioid prescribing and harm reduction strategies in older adults
2) Explore patient cases to illustrate real-world applications for healthcare providers treating the older adult population
3) Establish a network of interdisciplinary professionals to bring awareness to resources available for the safe use of opioids in the older adult population
