As the landscape of diabetic monitoring continues to evolve, healthcare practitioners and those working alongside them have a heightened need to
remain well-informed of the latest and most efficient blood-glucose monitoring methods. One such method is Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), a method heavily expounded upon in the Diabetic Technology section of the 2020 ADA Diabetes Guidelines. While research has pushed forward in this area, the progression to widespread daily use has been hindered by a lack of knowledge on the part of healthcare professionals. This CE addresses the growing need for greater understanding and practical expertise as it relates to a variety of novel CGM instruments and the many tangible benefits they can afford today’s patients in the primary care setting.
