Overview of Hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease and the use of factor products for those specific conditions.

Dr. Anne Poundstone graduated from Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2014. In 2015, she completed a PGY1 of Pharmacy Practice at NorthShore University Health System in Evanston, IL. Shortly after residency graduation, she began her Emergency Medicine practice at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. During her time at Baptist, she helped expand pharmacy services in our ED to almost 24 hour coverage. In July 2017, she obtained her BCPS certification. As an emergency medicine pharmacist, she is often the go-to resource factor related emergencies. She is an active member of the System ED Section Committee here a Baptist Medical Center South.

Dr. Brittany Till graduated from Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2020. In 2021, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. Shortly after residency graduation, Brittany began her Emergency Medicine practice at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. During her time at Baptist, she has participated in many committees and helped complete several policy and protocol updates, including a pharmacist lead ED culture review process and the system-wide use of calcitonin in hypercalcemia. As an emergency medicine pharmacist, she is often the go-to resource regarding hemorrhagic shock and factor related emergencies. She is an active member of the System ED Section Committee and Stroke Team Committee. She is currently the Chair of the Unit Practice Council (UPC) Committee here a Baptist Medical Center South.

Dr. Lauren Wright graduated from Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2019. In 2020, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. Shortly after residency graduation, Lauren began her Emergency Medicine practice at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. During her time at Baptist, she helped establish a monthly pharmacy education board and participated in several policy and protocol updates, including Massive Transfusion. In May of 2022, she complete the American System of Health Systems Pharmacists Emergency Medicine Clinical Specialist certificate and plan to sit for the BCEMP as soon as test dates become available. As an emergency medicine pharmacist, she is often the go-to resource regarding hemorrhagic shock and factor related emergencies. She is an active member of the System ED Section Committee here a Baptist Medical Center South.
