Management of Erectile Dysfunction in the Outpatient Setting, Dr. Kristi Kelley
During this in-service we will be discussing briefly the pathophysiology of erectile dysfunction. Non-drug and drug causes of ED will be covered. We will also discuss the general treatment approach of ED including: treatment of underlying disease states, discontinuing a medication that may be causing ED, PDE-5 inhibitors, Alprostadil, Testosterone, Devices or Surgery. Additionally, we will be discussing patient consideration and counseling points. Content will be delivered by AnnaClaire Paschal and Emily Campbell, Student Pharmacists on their APPE at the Continuity of Care Clinic at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Note this will be offered to clinic nurses and social worker.
