The American Geriatrics Society Beers Criteria is one of the most commonly utilized tools and has been updated in 2023. This presentation will review the changes made to the criteria and discuss the appropriate use of the criteria in practice.

This presentation aims to provide non-oncology pharmacists with an overview of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and radiotherapy supportive care. The objective is to equip pharmacists outside of the oncology setting with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively support cancer patients undergoing these treatments. Evidence supporting the educational need includes the increasing complexity of cancer therapies and the potential for adverse events and drug interactions that require specialized management.
