This presentation will review extracorporeal life support with focus on institution implementation and pharmacokinetic profiles of commonly used medications in ECLS patients. Baptist Medical Center South will be implementing ECMO, so review on ECMO principles and drug utilization is necessary. There is little guidance on dose adjustments with ECMO but there is data that describes the effect of ECMO on certain therapies.
