Chronic coronary disease (CCD), formerly known as "stable ischemic heart disease," encompasses a diverse range of conditions, including both obstructive and nonobstructive coronary artery disease (CAD), with or without a history of myocardial infarction (MI) or revascularization. It also includes ischemic heart disease diagnosed solely through noninvasive testing and chronic angina syndromes arising from various underlying causes.
